Why is it that the girls will sleep sooo late during the week but on the weekends they insist on waking up at the crack of dawn?!?! They must have known today was going to be a nice day and they wanted to get an early start.
What we did today was get up, eat breakfast and then get ready to go up to visit family in MA. We headed to Jen's house and hung out there for the entire day. Pete stayed behind so he could get some stuff done. The girls and I left around 9:30 and with bunnies/bears in the car (their blankets they sleep with) they were asleep before we hit the highway. We stopped at the grocery store when we were almost there so that we could pick up lunch and a snack to bring with us.
We got there around 11:30, made lunch and played. Played hard. For the next 5 hours! They painted (something we don't do at home...but will now), rode cars, played with the parachute, jumped on the bed (something we don't do at home...and still won't do!), ate, drank, laughed, cried but most of all - I RELAXED! Tant tant showed up and played too ;-) Christopher was soooo good about sharing and letting the girls play with all of his toys. He even joined in for much of the afternoon! It's certainly not an easy task to let the trio come in and take over - especially when you're a toddler. But he did it without complaint!
Then we headed home. Got here, ate dinner, took baths, did the night thing and then in bed. They talked and chatted and gabbed for about an hour before actually going to sleep. Then I did some homework, worked on the computer and now it's time for sleeeeeeeeeep.
